reading and Writing is the key to understanding your identity: A synthesis of why I Write and My Name

Hello Readers ! today we will be synthesizing "My Name" by Sandra Cisneros and "Why I Write" by Joan Didion. the texts we talk about in previous posts. "My Name" and "Why I Write" are both very personal texts focused around the writer learning more about themselves. So when asking yourself who the audience for these texts are I think it's anyone trying to learn more about themselves. Because both these texts open up the reader to asking questions like " What does my name mean?" or "why do I write?" If I had to categorize the audience to a specific age bracket I would say young people around there teenage years or there early twenties when there trying to understand what they want in life and who they are. Like last time, the passage is very personal its the author is asking themselves why they write. The title is interesting because it was borrowed from the Author's professor.
